CHICAGO (CBS) — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in the North Mayfair neighborhood Monday evening.
At 6:25 p.m., the woman – age unknown – was on foot in the 4900 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue, near Elston Avenue, when she was hit by the vehicle, police said.
The woman was rushed to AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where she was pronounced dead.
The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
